Aspects of the Moon – Lesson 8 – The Moon’s Aspects to the Sun

In this eighth lesson on Evaluating Astromagical Elections – Aspects of the Moon, we move on from the essentials of the Moon’s aspects to benefic and malefic planets and begin to consider aspects to other planets. The principle of aspected planetary nature tells us in a nutshell that the Moon’s aspects to benefics are beneficial, and that the Moon’s aspects to malefics are harmful. So what about the Sun? This more ‘neutral’ planet ushers in some complexities. With the benefic and malefic planets, the core nature of the planet was considered central. When it comes to the Sun, textual evidence indicates that we need to make a more nuanced evaluation of the aspected planet’s condition to make a determination as to the quality of Moon aspects to the Sun.

This video lesson goes into greater depth on a portion of the fourth post in our blog series on Evaluating Astromagical Elections – Aspects of the Moon.
