Aspects of the Moon – Lesson 10 – The Moon’s Aspects to Fixed Stars
In this tenth lesson on Evaluating Astromagical Elections – Aspects of the Moon, we take a step beyond the seven traditional planets into the eighth sphere: that of the fixed stars. This requires us to move beyond the Picatrix as our primary source, as Picatrix contains no clear passage we are aware of that clearly instructs us to consider sextile, square, trine, or opposition aspects to fixed stars, and indeed has very little information on fixed star talismans at all. Using material from De Quindecim Stellis as well as Ficino and Picatrix, we explain in this lesson the foundations necessary to evaluate aspects to the fixed stars in fixed star elections and in planetary elections.
This video lesson goes into greater depth on a portion of the fifth post in our blog series on Evaluating Astromagical Elections – Aspects of the Moon.
