Aspects of the Moon – Lesson 5 – Conjunctions

In this fifth lesson on Evaluating Astromagical Elections – Aspects of the Moon, we fill in a gap in our understanding of aspects thus far. Both General Aspect Doctrine and Picatrix Aspect Doctrine as we have sketched them leave out the Moon’s conjunctions. Here, we delineate something akin to the principle of aspected planetary nature to fill out the picture and allow us to evaluate the Moon’s conjunctions to planets and fixed stars. We also examine some textual evidence from the Picatrix that adds nuance to Moon aspects according to what planets and/or fixed stars the Moon is conjoining. In this lesson we also offer some relational metaphors for understanding and fleshing out our delineations of more complex and nuanced configurations.

This video lesson goes into greater depth on a portion of the second post in our blog series on Evaluating Astromagical Elections – Aspects of the Moon.
