Astrological Talismans: Our Mission, Our Purpose, Our Why

At Idola Stellarum, we prioritize relationship. As astrological magicians, we are committed to thinking and working with ideas that show the greatest amount of respect and fidelity to the spirits that we work with—of course, including those of the celestial hierarchy, but also down to those of our stones, our tools, and the very land itself.

Our spirit relationships begin at home, and our practice of astrological magic is nourished by many years of ancestral healing practices and ancestral spirit veneration. Like the philosopher-astrologer-seer Ari Felix, we also know the planets and stars to be living ancestors.

We offer our astrological talismans and our astromagical aesthetic and approach as medicine for cultural repair: of our lineages fragmented by trauma and oppression, of our worldviews fragmented by materialism, and of our sense of connection to ourselves and the world fragmented by modernity.

We also recognize the western occult scenes are sites of a lot of explicit and latent white supremacy. The spirits we work with in our talismanic workings are so helpful and healing and we want them to reach the right people. Witnessing how deeply healing and supportive magical and spiritual connection can be, we aspire to develop Idola Stellarum as a vehicle to support accessibility to and diversity in the stellar image magic and astrological communities.
