What Are Astrological Talismans?

Astrological talismans are the pinnacle achievements of astrological magic: they are the living fruits of deep and consequential magic. A talisman is akin to an inspirited mobile altar, existing as a tangible link to the spirits of the heavens—the planets, the stars, the spheres—through which we can commune and attune to them, and also receive their blessings and powers.

Astrological talismans are made using precise astrological timing to tap into the power of rare and auspicious celestial conditions. Through traditional ceremonial methods, we combine natural, traditional materials into specially crafted, long-lasting, powerful astromagical artifacts.

Idola Stellarum Astrological Talisman Collection Launch Schedule

Astrological talismans from Idola Stellarum are released in collections on the equinoxes and solstices: so, roughly, mid-late March, June, September, and December. Members of our Inner Sanctum gain early access, usually for 24-48 hours, before collections release to members of our mailing list. Generally, about 60% of our talismans go to Inner Sanctum members, so particularly for more rare and unique talismans, membership represents the best path toward access if there is a particular talisman that feels like a good fit for you.

Note that very few astrological talismans from Idola Stellarum have ever been advertised to the general public. We encourage interested parties to join our mailing list below for news about collection releases and information on how to access our collections.

Our Collections of Astromagical Talismanic Jewelry

Idola Stellarum’s next astrological talisman collection will be released around the time of the autumn equinox, 2025. Members of our Inner Sanctum will receive first news of the collection, including talisman details and launch times, followed by members of our mailing list.

Our most recent collection, Insight, was released to members on June 21, 2025 and to general mailing list subscribers on June 24, 2025. Our next collection, Aegis, will be released around the autumn equinox. The doors of the Inner Sanctum usually open for a brief period prior to collection releases, and we welcome people to join the waitlist for word of this offering.

To date, we have released 10 collections of astromagical talismanic jewelry:

Our Insight collection came to us as we were both investigating the Hermetic origins of astrology and astrological magic from different angles, and will feature Mercury in Aquarius, fixed star Procyon, and 3rd Lunar Mansion talismans.

Our Luminous collection featured Sun in Leo, Moon in Taurus, fixed star Regulus, and fixed star Vega talismans. The four talismans of the Luminous collection each serve to kindle the hearts of all who come into their sphere, illuminating the lives of those they touch with unceasing celestial gifts.

Our Somnia collection featured Saturn in Aquarius, Cassiopeia constellation, and Venus in Cancer (triplicity dignity) talismans. The three talismans of the Somnia collection each provide their own window into the dream of celestial connection that Idola Stellarum works to kindle and foster.

Our Sympatheia collection featured talismans from the 3rd Lunar Mansion, fixed star Sirius, and fixed star Deneb Algedi. Each of these talismans captures one aspect of the jewel that is the cosmic Sympatheia—mutual interdependence and innate, inextricable interconnection—linking us all to each other and to the cosmos.

Our Serenity collection featured talismans from the spheres of Saturn, the Moon, and the 22nd Lunar Mansion. The talismans of this collection were chosen for their association with the quiet, calm, and serene aspects of the spheres and of nature. 

Our Sovereign collection featured talismans from the spheres of the Sun and Venus to offer abundance and general goodness, gifts that almost anyone can use to step into their own authority in what promises to be a difficult year.

Our Spark collection featured three bright stellar beacons that radiated through the darkness of the shortest days of the Northern year, during a time of strife and collective activation.

Our Solace collection brought the cheer and clarity of kinder skies forward as a shield against any harshness of the impending season. This collection more than any Idola Stellarum collection so far helped us lift the mood and keeps us in good spirits.

Our Summit collection resonated with Venus’s journey through Leo, encouraging us to get out in the world, strive for great heights, and enthusiastically connect with the resources of the inner, outer, and spirit worlds.
